About Oxfordshire Way
The Oxfordshire Way connects the Cotswolds in the west with the Chilterns in the east, crossing the county through the quiet river valleys and rolling farmland of central Oxfordshire. Bourton-on-the-Water, Woodstock, Blenheim Palace grounds, Waterperry and Henley-on-Thames are the main waypoints.
For trail runners it is a two day route on well-maintained paths through pleasant countryside. Not dramatic, but excellent for a long training weekend in accessible terrain close to London and the Midlands.
