Bog Dog Running

Bog Dog Running is a specialist running shop at 42 Broad Street in Stamford, Lincolnshire, offering gait analysis and shoe fitting. Its race is the Grim Reaper, which shop owner Laura Bailey and Steve Cole relaunched in 2023 on the Grimsthorpe Castle estate near Bourne: a 10-mile loop run as a single lap or as 40, 70 and 100-mile ultras, plus a night 10 and a 100-mile team relay. The event is pitched at all abilities and works well as a first ultra because the loop is undulating rather than hilly. Entries go through Let's Do This. The shop brings a stocked stand to the race for forgotten kit, and also sells a virtual Grim Reaper challenge that is not a real-world race.
