Rotherham Harriers and Athletics Club's trail section put on the Round Rotherham, a fifty-mile circuit of the borough on footpaths, tracks, towpaths and some road with about eight hundred metres of climb, under Trail Running Association rules. Walkers go off around four in the morning, runners at seven, and an eight-stage relay has a mass start at eight.
