About this route
A near flat 14.6 km circuit of Derwentwater from Keswick, with only 21 m of climbing. Woodland, shoreline and lake views the whole way round, ideal for easy distance.
Hazards & notes
Low lying sections near the head of the lake flood readily after rain and can be ankle deep in winter. Tree roots and boardwalk can be slippery when wet.
