About this route
A 17.4km loop from Staveley through the low fells and valleys around the village, linking the Kent and Gowan valleys with quiet bridleway. A runnable eastern-Lakes circuit from a cracking base.
Hazards & notes
The lower ground holds mud after rain and the bridleways are rough in places. Higher junctions need a little care in poor visibility, and tracks are shared with cyclists.
