About this route
A big 23.2 km Northern Fells horseshoe taking in four Wainwrights: Lonscale Fell, Skiddaw Little Man, Skiddaw (931 m) and Blencathra. 1,412 m of climbing on serious high ground.
Hazards & notes
Long exposed ridges with no shelter and serious navigation around Skiddaw House in cloud. Some descents off Blencathra are steep, rocky and exposed, and the whole round is committing in poor weather, with map and compass skills essential.
