About this route
A 10.8km loop from Masham along the River Ure and through Marfield Wetlands, on the gentle lowland edge of the Dales. Easy riverside and field running from a handsome market town of two breweries.
Hazards & notes
The riverside meadows flood in winter and hold mud after rain, so the low path can be soft or impassable in spate. The River Ure is wide and should be respected when high.
