About this route

A longer moorland circuit from Embsay Reservoir taking in the full sweep of Barden Moor with some of the best trails in the Yorkshire Dales from Cracoe War Memorial back to the reservoir.

Hazards & notes

Some pathless moorland sections on the higher ground. Boggy after rain. Grouse shooting August to December.
