About this route

A 16.9km loop from Clapham up to Sulber Gate, the limestone col on the Yorkshire Three Peaks route below Ingleborough, with 314m of climbing on good bridleway throughout.

Hazards & notes

Wet limestone pavement gets slippery, and the open ground around Sulber has few landmarks if cloud drops. Trow Gill narrows into a small gorge with rockier underfoot conditions.

Emergency

Call 999 or 112 → ask for Police → request Mountain Rescue. Register Emergency SMS: text "register" to 999.
