A shorter loop onto Barden Moor above Wharfedale, climbing to 431m on open access land near Barden Tower. 9.4km, 220m of ascent, on clear tracks throughout.
Hazards & notes
Ground can turn soft and slippery after rain, particularly on the descent. Grouse shooting runs 12 August to 10 December (no shooting on Sundays), and the moor has no shelter from wind or rain.
