About running in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs

Accessible Highlands: lochs, forest and proper mountain ground, starting with two Munros above Loch Earn.

One route so far, and it's a big one. Ben Vorlich and Stuc a' Chroin from Loch Earn is 15km with 1,145m of climb, and the link between the two summits is steep, rocky and needs care in the wet. There's no public transport to the start; buses reach Lochearnhead and St Fillans, then it's a few kilometres of road. The rest of the park — the Arrochar Alps, Ben Lomond, the Trossachs themselves — is still to come. Every route has a free GPX download and an honest TRP Grade.
