The Bath Beat started with officers from Bath police station over twenty years ago and is now its own thing: a spring challenge walk and run on the south-eastern edge of Bath with four distances, footpaths through farmland and along the old Somerset Coal Canal, and checkpoints famous for the quantity of homemade food.
