Ultra Tour Lancashire

A single late-August weekend of ultra running through the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, the city of Lancaster and the countryside between them, from a basecamp at Dunsop Bridge — the geographical centre of Great Britain. Two races: a 38 miler round Stocks Reservoir and Gisburn Forest, and a 100 miler that adds the canal and riverside paths of Lancaster and the climb out of Caton onto the Roman-laid Hornby Road. Free camping at the basecamp for both.
