About this route
An 18.1km loop around Scar House and Angram Reservoirs at the head of Nidderdale, on reservoir track and open moor. Remote, wild upper-dale running under the moors that feed the River Nidd.
Hazards & notes
The moor sections around Angram are boggy and exposed, needing care in cloud, and there is no shelter or facilities beyond the car park. Weather turns quickly at the head of the dale. Grouse shooting affects the moors between August and December.
