About this route
An 8.1km loop from Grassington through Grass Wood and back along the River Wharfe, one of the largest broadleaf woodlands in the Dales. Short, low and full of interest on riverside and woodland paths.
Hazards & notes
The woodland paths are rocky and steep in places and get slick when wet or icy. The riverside meadows hold water after rain, and the Wharfe should not be underestimated when high.
