What you’re in for
A single 21.2km loop from SSE Outdoors at Kilve Court up onto the Quantock Hills, built with the Quantocks AONB service, Natural England and the National Trust. Expect steep climbs, technical singletrack through old woodland, some quiet lanes and long stretches of open moorland, with 839m of ascent in total. The ground is rough in places, with stiles, gates and stream crossings that may involve stepping stones or log balances. The route is fully flagged and signed, there are two feed stations and a four-hour cut-off, and the race counts towards a UTMB index. Camping, van pitches and basic bunkhouse beds are available at the venue the night before.
