What you’re in for

Trail races on the private Rushmore Estate in Cranborne Chase, starting and finishing at Larmer Tree Gardens near Tollard Royal. The routes run through chalk valleys, old hunting woodland and tree-lined avenues, with elevated ridges and around 20m of climb per kilometre. Ground is a mix of grassland, woodland track and estate roads. The half is one big lap, the 20 miler adds the 10km loop and the marathon is two half laps. Marathon runners must start lap two within three hours, and the 20 miler has a four-hour limit on its big lap. There is a canicross 10km. Parking is a paid pass.
