No reviews of the Doomsday Run, and nothing on what people wore. Both are things no organiser publishes and every runner wants before they enter — how it actually went, and what was on your feet.

What you’re in for

Laps of Bere Wood, about 600 acres of private woodland on the Charborough Estate near Bere Regis, opened specially for the race. The route was planned with the estate's head forester. The 10K is one loop and the half marathon is two, and pairs can split the half as a relay with one loop each. The ground is rough woodland track with roots, ruts, mud and low light under the trees, so this is not a course for a fast time. The organiser rates it 4 out of 5 for difficulty. Mandatory kit is a phone and a reusable cup, the minimum age is 18 and dogs are not allowed. Registration is at Bere Wood, which you can only reach from the A35.
