Ultra X

Ultra X run stage races and trail weekends around the world, three of them in the UK: England in the Peak District, Wales in the Bannau Brycheiniog, and Scotland along Loch Ness. A fourth, the Spring Trail Series, follows the Serpent Trail through the South Downs. The format is the same everywhere. One weekend, one event village, and five or six distances off the same trails — so a household can enter a 12km and a hundred miles and still finish in the same field. The longer races are UTMB Index events, and anyone under 23 on race day enters free, at any distance. Complete the ultra distances at all three GB events in a calendar year and you take the Great British Slam, awarded at the finish of Ultra X England.
