About running in Airedale
Shipley Glen, Baildon Moor and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal: two very different runs from Saltaire station, on the edge of Bradford.
Two routes so far, and they could hardly be more different. Shipley Glen and Baildon Moor is a 12.7km loop with 215m of climb, up through the oak woods and boulders of the glen and out onto open moor. Skipton to Saltaire along the canal is 25.6km of flat towpath with no climbing and no navigation — the simplest long run in the north, with trains on the Airedale line to get you back. Saltaire station serves both, so neither needs a car. Every route has a free GPX download and an honest TRP Grade.
