Trail running in Upper Nidderdale

You run the length of Gouthwaite Reservoir, one of the best birdwatching waters in the north, with the moors and old lead mines of upper Nidderdale rising on either side.

You run right round two great dammed reservoirs at the empty head of Nidderdale, ringed by heather moor, with the huge stone dam of Scar House as the centrepiece.
