What you’re in for
A 22km loop from Perranporth Airfield to finish the Arc weekend: south along the coast path through St Agnes to Porthtowan, then back inland over St Agnes Beacon to the airfield. 21.9km on the GPX with 700m of climb (organiser: 22.1km and 744m), eleven o'clock on the Sunday, four hours, one checkpoint at Porthtowan roughly halfway. Coast path waymarking plus some of the organiser's own, mandatory kit carried throughout, and no crew access at the checkpoint.
Terrain and trail
Cliff path along the old mining coast — steep steps in and out of Trevaunance and Chapel Porth, engine houses on the skyline — then heather and track over St Agnes Beacon and lane back. Short, but the climbing is real and it is January on the Atlantic. A trail shoe with grip.
