BigFeat Events

BigFeat Events put on marked, marshalled trail races across Hampshire, West Sussex, Dorset and the New Forest, with a couple of outliers in Cheshire and Greater Manchester. The core is the Element Trail Series (BigBeyond, BigMud, BigSea, BigHeat and BigSky), backed by night races at Winchester and Moors Valley, Christmas trail races, point-to-point runs such as Winter's End along the South Downs Way and The Big Pilgrimage, and the Giants Head Marathon weekend in Dorset. Most events offer several distances from about 10km to 50km, with Winter's End stretching to 50 miles. Courses carry BigFeat's own fluorescent arrows, but they still advise loading the GPX because markers get moved. Events are cupless, at least 500ml of fluid is mandatory, canicross is not accepted, and you can choose a tree planted instead of a medal. Entries are handled through their Eventrac site.
