What you’re in for
A point-to-point race in August along the start of the Old Way pilgrim route, from Mayflower Park in Southampton. It follows the coast past Netley Castle, Netley Abbey and Royal Victoria Country Park. Runners then take a short boat ride across the Hamble River to Warsash and continue along the shore to Titchfield. The 15 miles finishes at Titchfield Abbey and the marathon at Boundary Oak School near Wickham. The terrain is mixed, with pavement out of Southampton before the coastal and country paths. Starts are in waves from 7:20 (marathon) and 7:50 (15 miles). Coaches run from both finishes to the start.
