The course
What you’re in for
A 30km route from North Berwick with 640m of ascent, run solo or as a relay of three. The first leg follows the John Muir Way to East Linton. The second goes up the River Tyne to climb Traprain Law and come back. The third returns to North Berwick by way of North Berwick Law. The organiser describes the mix as roads, trails and hill sections. It is chip-timed and marshalled throughout, with hydration stations, a relay changeover area, first aid and free parking. A 10K walk around North Berwick and Balgone runs alongside. The event honours the Scottish Commandos and raises money for Scottish Veterans Residences.
