Eryri by UTMB is the Welsh round of the UTMB World Series, run out of Llanberis and Caernarfon in May. Five races from 25K to 100 miles cross the Snowdonia massif, and finishing one earns Running Stones toward a place at UTMB in Chamonix. The ground is proper Welsh mountain — the 100 miler takes in the Carneddau, the Glyderau and Yr Wyddfa itself. Expect rock, bog and weather.
