The course
What you’re in for
A hundred and sixty-three kilometres from Llanberis with 9,200 m of climb, out at two on the Friday afternoon and back to the same village at the foot of Yr Wyddfa. Through Capel Curig, Dolwyddelan, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Croesor, Beddgelert, Rhyd Ddu and Betws Garmon. Technical trail and exposed mountain ridge, rocky scree and boulder fields, boggy moor, and the slate industry all through it. Llyn Gwynant and Llyn Idwal on the way. Forty-eight hours.
