Racing Line Running

Racing Line Running is run by Andy, based in Mortimer, Berkshire, and has been going since 2019. Most of its calendar is the Ales & Trails series of 10km and half-marathon trail races, each starting and finishing at a brewery in Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire. Finishers get a medal, a pint cup and a free drink. There are also two 50km ultras: Beat the Sunset from Maidenhead and the Tapyard Ultra between Ramsbury and Renegade breweries. Routes are mostly off-road but on firm ground, often 75 to 95 percent trail, and are fully signed with arrows and tape. Events are chip timed and cupless, the minimum age is 16 for most races, and there are no entries on the day. Entries go through RiderHQ, with early-bird discounts for the first 100. Andy is also a director of Ultra Violet, which organises the Round Reading Ultra and Run to the Sea.
