What you’re in for

A 23.3 km loop from the Peak Centre at Edale, run as many times as you can inside twenty-four hours. The first lap goes clockwise and after that you pick your direction, which changes how the climbs feel more than you would expect. 977 m of ascent every time round. No intermediate cut-offs and rest as long as you like between laps, so it is as much a question of what you can talk yourself back out of the hall for as what your legs will do. Eight on the Saturday to eight on the Sunday.
