What you’re in for

The whole Pennine Bridleway National Trail, Edale in the south Peak District to its northern end at Kirkby Stephen. A hundred and forty-three miles of Pennine upland, fells and moor, going off at eight on the Thursday morning with seventy-five hours to get there. Three stops that matter: Hebden Bridge on the Friday with hot food, a drop bag and a bunk, eight hours maximum; Settle on the Saturday with floor space, six hours maximum; then the finish at Kirkby Stephen. Not waymarked beyond the trail's own posts — you get the GPX and the course notes.
