Ten miles from the A171 lay-by above Jugger Howe along the Lyke Wake Walk to Lilla Howe and its seventh-century cross, past Louven Howe and back down to Jugger Beck before the climb onto Jugger Moor. The views run from Whitby round to Scarborough Castle and the Wolds. Self-navigated with some flags and marshals, three hours, 50 runners.
