What you’re in for

A trail half marathon from the car park below Roseberry Topping, through forest and over heather moor that should be purple in August. One runner's verdict, quoted by the organiser, is that they had never thought of going up and down Roseberry Topping three times. The sting is at Odin's Seat. Marshals and some flags, but you should be competent with a map and compass. 50 places.
