What you’re in for
A 25km and a 50km from Harrold-Odell Country Park in the Great Ouse valley in mid-March, fully marked and marshalled, with generous cut-offs and runnable ground. The organiser pitches the 25km at newcomers to trail running or road runners crossing over, and the 50km at anyone stepping up a distance — both are designed, in their words, to feel achievable. Fully supported, with the routes published on Strava.
Terrain and trail
Lakeside and riverside path, grassy field, woodland track and a little lane, flat to gently rolling, and March mud on the fields. A trail shoe.
