What you’re in for

Both routes leave Brixworth Country Park, cross the dam towards Pitsford and follow the trails above Pitsford Water to Holcot. The 10k drops over the causeway and returns along the reservoir track, while the half marathon heads out through Hannington, Walgrave, Old and Scaldwell before rejoining the waterside track for the final mile. Expect field paths and several stiles on the longer route. Courses are arrowed and marshalled, with water at miles 3, 6.5 and 9.5 on the half and mile 3 on the 10k; bring your own cup. Country park parking is paid, but 40 free spaces at Grange Lane, Pitsford can be booked at entry. No dogs and no in-ear headphones.
