What you’re in for
A weekend of trail racing on the Deene Park estate near Corby, with camping. Saturday has the Trail Mix Challenge, a different 5k loop every hour for five hours, then the Headlight Hop 10k in the early evening. Sunday morning brings the Thump Trail Half, a hilly route through estate woodland and the surrounding countryside. Each can be entered alone, or all three together as the 56.1km Quest, whose six fastest men and women race a one-mile Carrot Dash. The event village sits on a hilltop with views over the Willow Brook valley. Saturday night camping is included in any entry, with toilets and showers but no hook-ups. Dogs are not allowed on the estate. The half has three water-only stations.
