What you’re in for

Short trail races on and around the Winwick Hall estate in west Northamptonshire, starting and finishing at the hall. The ground is a mix of grassland, field paths and firmer tracks, with a few short climbs and quick descents. The 5k suits newcomers to trail running and the 10k gives a bit more of a test. Routes are arrowed and marshalled, with a water station at halfway on the 10k and water at the finish; bring your own cup or bottle. Road shoes are fine if it has been dry. There is plenty of parking at the hall and a tea room for supporters. Dogs are not allowed. A separate 2k children's race runs later in the morning.
