Trail Blazing Events

Trail Blazing Events is a family-run events company from the North West of England that puts on small and mid-sized trail races, mostly on the edge of the West Pennine Moors around Rivington, Horwich, Abbey Village and the Yarrow Valley near Chorley. The calendar runs through the year: a New Year's Eve fell race, a night headtorch race in Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire, and a spring run of short trail races at Roddlesworth, Rivington and Yarrow Valley. The races are aimed at all abilities, from people trying trails for the first time to club runners, and several sell out ahead of the day, so entering early is sensible. Entries are taken through their own Eventrac-powered site. The team also provides chip timing for other organisers, and their own events are timed in-house.
