What you’re in for

A 10-mile loop from Rivington village on the edge of the West Pennine Moors. The route heads through the woods at White Coppice and the tracks of Wheelton Plantation, mixing open moorland, forest tracks and fast stretches with a few solid climbs, and gives views over the reservoirs. It starts at 10am from the Village Green Tea Room, with registration from 8:45am, and has a cut-off of two and a half hours. It is fully marshalled and timed by the organiser, and every finisher gets a medal. The race has sold out in earlier years, so enter early.
