What you’re in for
A single-lap 10K in Yarrow Valley Country Park near Chorley, timed for mid-May when the woods are full of bluebells. The route follows woodland trails and riverside paths along the River Yarrow, with several crossings of the river, and suits both new and experienced trail runners. Trail shoes are recommended. Race HQ is the Yarrow Bridge pub, with registration from 8:45am and a 10am start. The cut-off is two hours twenty minutes, every finisher gets a medal, and prizes are presented at around 12:15pm at the pub; they are not posted on.
