What you’re in for
A 10K night race from Kielder Waterside, run anticlockwise round the Bull Crag peninsula on the lakeside trails. It is the shortest of the Kielder Dark Skies races and the only one on the Sunday evening, so it can be paired with one of the Saturday races. Mandatory kit is the same as the longer races apart from a foil blanket in place of a survival bag: head torch, waterproof, hat and gloves, water, cup and phone. The route is flagged and marshalled, and there is a 2-hour limit. Registration is at Kielder Waterside Park, parking at Greenside car park.
