What you’re in for

The 10km race closes the South Scotland Outdoor Festival at Drumlanrig Castle, on the Sunday in 2026. It is a loop of the estate's trails with about 180m of climbing, described by the organiser as testing but suitable for newcomers as well as regular trail runners. Entry comes with full weekend festival access, a medal, photos and medical cover. Kit is trail shoes, a charged phone, a bottle, snacks and a waterproof layer. A kids' fun run takes place the same day.
