What you’re in for
A point-to-point coastal run from Swanage seafront that passes Old Harry Rocks and Studland before turning inland to finish below the ruins of Corfe Castle. Underfoot it is mostly firm chalk paths and sandy tracks. This is the hilliest event in the series: 473m on the half marathon, rated 4/5. After the finish, runners return to Swanage on a vintage train on the Swanage Railway; tickets are £9 and bought with your entry, and spectators can buy them too. Waves start at 9:00, 9:15 and 9:30 with a 1:30pm cut-off. There is no parking at the start, so use public car parks in Swanage. No dogs.
