What you’re in for
A two-hundred-mile loop of southern England on five trails in sequence. East from Juniper Hall under Box Hill on the North Downs Way for eighteen miles to Botley Hill, south on the Vanguard Way for forty-five to Alfriston, west along the South Downs Way for eighty to Exton, north on the Wayfarers Walk and St Swithuns Way for thirty-two to Farnham, then the North Downs Way for the last twenty-five back to where you started. Centurion do not mark it. You carry the GPX and navigate, and each trail is waymarked differently. Four checkpoints, Blackboys, Truleigh Hill, the Sustainability Centre and Puttenham, the last a safety point only, with capped stays at each. Ninety-six hours.
