Channel Events

Channel Events (Channel UK Events CIC) is a not-for-profit community interest company based at the Adventure Centre in Minehead, incorporated in October 2018 and led by Dan Brice. Its running events are spread across Somerset and Exmoor. They include the Dark Skies night trail series (Storm the Fort, Mendip Aurora, Moonlit Meadow), the Selworthy Stargazer, Steaming to the Coast, Beacon to Beach, and the Exmoor Running and Walking Festival with the Exmoor Perambulation and Man vs Moor. It also runs swims, triathlons and bike events. Most of its races are short and friendly, with a few serious moorland days among them. Medals are an optional extra to cut waste, events are cupless, and the night races require a 250-lumen torch. Entry is through the organiser's own Eventrac site.
