What you’re in for
A hundred and two mile loop from Ellesmere Port taking in the Shropshire Canal, the Sandstone Trail, the Bridgewater Canal, the Trans-Pennine Trail and the North Cheshire Way, through Chester, Beeston Castle, Delamere Forest, Frodsham, Warrington, Helsby Hill and Preston Brook. Well marked, with GPX files issued before race day so any diversions are on the final version. Twelve checkpoints, thirty-two hours, 1,590 m of ascent.
