GB Ultras

Warrington, Cheshire · 16 races listed

GB Ultras put on some of the longest point-to-point races in Britain. Chester, Snowdonia, the Brecon Beacons, the Cheshire Ring, Glasgow to Edinburgh — and, at the far end, the 215-mile Race Across Scotland and the 200-mile Greater Manchester Ultra. The format is consistent across the range: a mass start, live GPS tracking, indoor checkpoints with hot food on the long ones, and cut-offs enforced checkpoint by checkpoint. Fields are large by ultra standards — several of the 50-mile races take 750 runners — so these are not lonely events, even at 100 miles. Most carry ITRA and UTMB index points and run under UK Athletics rules through the Trail Running Association. Entry is direct through their own site, with instalment options.
