I dnf'd at mile 65 due to getting a bit lost and having to bash through wet bracken which made me too cold to get moving again. Couldn't get warm again. Gutted. The route is stunning and you can't beat a summit of Eryri in a race. Really enoyed the route before I dropped out

A hundred and two miles out of Betws-y-Coed with 5,172 m of climb, leaving on the Snowdonia Slate Trail to Beddgelert, then through Nant Gwynant past Sygun Copper Mine, Llyn Dinas and Llyn Gwynant, and over Yr Wyddfa itself. You navigate. A hardcopy map is mandatory — OS OL17 and OL18, or Harvey — and there are steep drops and cliff edges where a wrong line matters. Eleven checkpoints every six to ten miles, forty-two hours. The GPX comes with a low-level option for severe weather.
