Thirteen and a half miles of fell over Soyland Moor from the Hinchliffe Arms at Cragg Vale, 21.7km with 396m of climb, run under FRA rules. Early November. A long fell race by Calderdale standards, on the watershed moor between Cragg Vale and Ripponden.

Pennine moor: peat, tussock, flagged path and reservoir track, wet in November. Fell-race navigation — you find your own way. A fell shoe.
