The course

What you’re in for

A 26.2 km out-and-back from the centre of Hebden Bridge. A steep opening climb gains the moor, then the route runs fairly level past Stoodley Pike on sandy, rocky paths and stone slabs, passing reservoirs to a turnaround at the White House pub car park before retracing its steps and finishing down the same hill. The course is flagged, with marshals, a tail runner and a single water station at the turnaround, so carry what you need between. Registration is at a cafe on Crown Street; Hebden Bridge station is about ten minutes' walk, and weekend parking in town is tight. Baggage store and medal for finishers.
