What you’re in for
Grassington to Malham Tarn, Arncliffe and back through Wharfedale on three distances: a 25K of 27.4km on a fixed route where the GPX must be followed, and a 50K of 51.7km and a 100K of 97.9km with 2,960m of climb and eleven checkpoints where route choice is allowed between them. Mid-October.
Terrain and trail
Limestone pavement, moor and dale: fast on the limestone, boggy on the tops between Malham and Littondale, with the 100K crossing high ground in the dark. Not marked; a map covering the whole route is compulsory kit. A trail shoe with grip.

Route choice is allowed between checkpoints on the longer distances; the 25K is a fixed route and the GPX must be followed. Compulsory kit includes a map covering the route and a compass, "and skills to use these!". Live tracking throughout. The 100K is cancelled for 2026 and postponed until further notice.
